County of Béxar } To the Sheriff of the County of Béxar;

Order of the Probate Court April Term 1840.

You are hereby commanded that you summons or cite Robert Crocket Admr of the Estate of David Crocket decd that he be and appear before the Honl the Probate Court of Béxar County to be holden at the Court house in the City of San Antonio on the last Monday in May (Instant) being the 25th day of the month and then and there to return Inventory and finally settle up the Estate of said David Crocket deceased as required by the 60th Section of an act past [sic] at the late session of Congress regulating or defining the duties of Probate Courts.

Herein fail not, and at our Probate Court as aforesaid you shall make due return of this summons together with your proceedings had in the case __________.In witness whereof I, John W. Smith, Clerk of the Probate Court have hereunto set my hand & the seal of said Court this 4th May A.D. 1840.
